Terms of Service

§ 1 Scope

These terms of service govern the use of the website analysis service better-web.eu (the “Service”), operated by Christoph Chilian, Speckelsteinstr. 71, 53881 Euskirchen, Germany (see imprint).

§ 2 Services

The Service analyses publicly accessible websites (including SSL, DNS, SEO, performance and readability) and presents the results. The Service is free of charge. There is no entitlement to permanent availability, completeness or accuracy of the analysis results.

§ 3 Registration and account

Advanced features (domains, recurring scans, notifications) require registration with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. You may only analyse websites you are authorised to analyse.

§ 4 Fair use

Use of the Service is subject to reasonable usage limits (e.g. analyses per day/month) to keep the Service available for all users. Automated abuse, overloading the Service or analysing third-party websites for harmful purposes is prohibited.

§ 5 Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for damages arising from the use of the analysis results, except in cases of intent or gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health.

§ 6 Termination and deletion

You can delete your account at any time in your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms. Analysis results are automatically deleted after 90 days.

§ 7 Final provisions

German law applies. Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. For information on data protection, see the privacy policy.
